In with the good, out with the bad. We have decided to pretend we are moving and say 'would I want to pack/haul this somewhere else?' If the answer is no, out it goes. My problem is actually getting out of the garage now that I don't want it in the house anymore.

8) No suit to protect them from toxic fumes from the fuel. The propellants are dangerous (liquid oxygen will make anything burn) but they won't kill you with high toxicity like most other rocket propellants will.

I watched Obama talk to the media concerning Rev. Wright a while back and was stunned by a man who spoke to me as though I was intelligent enough to parse his carefully worded position.

Jon Stewart said much the same thing... paraphrasing "Finally... a politician who talks to us about race as if we were adults."

Your phrase "Not Good Enough" reminds me of a saying: "The perfect is the enemy of the good."

As disappointed as I am that Prop. 8 passed, I know this is only a temporary setback. Year after year, there has been a steady decline in the percentage of the population who can't accept same-sex marriage. Currently, most people over 40 don't accept it, and most people under 40 do.

Sooner or later, the "circle of equality", the proportion of the citizenry who are considered to be equals, will grow to encompass gays and lesbians, as it has grown to include other minority groups within our society.

Hey, bro. That was very insightful. And it reminds me of a key point Obama made in his victory speech.

He said that he wanted to listen to everybody, especially those who disagreed with him. The media didn't pick up on that bit as much as I would have like them to, but the media has their reasons.

Applying this line of thought to the unfortunate decision made in California regarding their inability to accept same-sex relationships sounds like the right approach to me. Find out who the people are that voted against and ask them why they did. Without knowing their reasons, any attempt to just "outvote" them will just land you all in the same damned left-vs.-right political quagmire that has plagued this country for far too long.

Real results are achieved when people work together, not against each other.
