I'm going to start attaching some of the necessary documentation someone in my business has to have and know to stay legal. Read it if you like, but it might cause your brain to explode if you aren't a lawyer. Don't say I didn't warn you.
The first is about the control lists. A lot of tech related to space and aerospace is controlled at the federal level in order to prevent the 'bad people' from being able to use it/build it. While I have personal opinions regarding the entries on these lists and on the value of secrecy as compared to transparency, I also recognize the futility of pissing into the wind.
